Job Title: Mobile App Developer IOS / Android

Job Description
What a typical week may look like at Youverify:
- Developing and maintaining world-class Android and IOS applications in collaboration with product managers, engineers and product designers.
- Implement unit and automating test, security best practice, and API integrations in the applications.
- Translate the UI/UX onto Android or IOS application.
- Building libraries and frameworks to support large, complex applications.
- Help identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Conduct code reviews and help maintain code quality & documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to analyse, design, and ship new features.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience developing IOS or Android applications using Kotlin or Java, Swift, Flutter.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proficient with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Swift, Flutter, Core data, Coacopods.
- Experience with RxJava2, Retrofit2 OkHttp3, Concurrency concept.
- Knowledge of analytics tools such as Firebase, Google Analytic, Crashlytics.
- Familiar with CICD process, Jenkins, and Fastlane.
- Ability to work as part of a Scrum team and understand Agile methodologies.
- Ability to write testable application.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Good understanding of Git, Java, Maven and Gradle.
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
- Proficient understanding of design pattern such as MVP ,MVVM pattern.
- Strong knowledge of IOS and Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Understanding of security algorithm such as SHA1, SHA256, encryption, and decryption.
- Experience with developing SDK and OAuth concept a big plus.
Salary
N250,000 – N350,000 monthly.

What a typical week may look like at Youverify:
- Design and implement new features and enhancements using NodeJS.
- Fix bugs assigned during the sprint planning process.
- Debugging and Improvement of existing systems.
- Expand our micro-services architecture.
- Management of all 3rd party tool relationships and integrations from a technical aspect. i.e. SMS providers, Email, APIs, Finance tools, Marketing tools, Business tools, AWS etc.
- Design, innovate and solve complex problems inherent in operating a high scale classifieds platform.
- Play a key role in reviewing and approving the work of your peers as part of the software development process.
- Interact with product owners, partners and business stakeholders to understand and develop requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years’ experience working with NodeJS.
- Comfort working within agile methodologies and experienced in estimation and time management.
- Working knowledge of gRPC and protocol buffers.
- Strong ability to problem-solve, debug, and understand pertinent performance metrics.
- Familiarity with containerization infrastructure (Docker), Caching (Redis), API gateway (KrakenD), orchestration (Kubernetes), Distributed tracing (Jaeger), Service mesh (LinkerD) and observability.
- Knowledge of microservices (or SOA), Docker, and/or distributed systems.
- Good working knowledge ofNoSQL systems (MongoDB, Elastic, Cassandra), Relational Database Systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle), Messaging Systems (RabbitMQ), Kafka.
- Experience with managing and deploying applications on AWS/DigitalOcean/GCP.
- Intermediate understanding of unit and integration testing, and testing frameworks/libraries — Mocha, Jest etc.
- Strong preference for test-driven-development (TDD) and understands its importance.
- Experience having worked with at least one Web Framework for your language of choice.
- Comfort and familiarity with code editor and formatting tools.
- Familiarity with at least one web server technology — (ex: Apache, Nginx).
- Working knowledge of at least one CI/CD tool — Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI, Github Action.
Salary
