Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • Reporting to senior management and performing secretarial and administrative duties.
  • Typing, formatting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations.
  • Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.
  • Liaising with internal departments, answering calls, and making travel arrangements.
  • Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of senior management.
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
  • Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.
  • Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.
  • Ordering office supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services.
  • Observing best business practices and etiquette.

Requirements

JobTitle: Head, Business Development

Duties

  • Work closely with other company Senior Management Executives to set the long-term Business Development Strategy for the company, based on a thorough understanding of the long-term market and economic trends that may affect the future of the Investment Management Business and the firm’s Vision and Mission.
  • Develop / Define and agree with Top Management’s future business strategies and goals aimed at achieving the organization’s objectives.
  • Grow the volume and value of transactions through asset and customers diversification, thus translating them into revenue growth areas.
  • Identify and build high-quality client relationships within various segments of institutional investors and high net worth as well as retail clients.
  • Will be in charge of developing a suitable Wealth Management Unit in the Company.
  • Oversee all aspects of transaction life cycles: Client sourcing, Marketing, Due diligence, Negotiation, Documentation, and Closing.
  • Ensure highest standards of service delivery to all categories of Customers;
  • Work with the Product Development and Strategy Teams to identify and fill product gaps that exist in the firm.
  • Build and further develop a team of highly capable professionals who will help achieve the mission of the firm.
  • Understand clients’ needs in order to manage their investment portfolios according to their risk appetite and investment goals.
  • Interface with the Finance and Operations functions in order to ensure smooth operations of the Funds and Portfolios of clients.
  • Develop strong internal inter-department relationships, in 0order to maximize firm-wide market success and profitability.

Job Description

  • Develop and review Company Compliance Policies.
  • Advise Management with regard to the company’s compliance with existing policies, Laws, and Regulations as well as Statutory Regulations, through detailed reports.
  • Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit queries and compliance violations.
  • Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
  • Regularly review company operations to determine any exposure to compliance risks.
  • Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes of the Company and Regulators.
  • Resolve employee concerns about Legal Compliance.

Requirements
