Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Executive

Job Purpose

  • As a Regulatory Affairs Executive, you will be responsible for the Licensing of Pharmaceutical products and Vaccines from GSK and GSK- owned entities and processing of related approvals with relevant Regulatory Authorities

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Managing product license life cycles for GSK assets including Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines, and other government-regulated products.
  • Managing Pharmaceutical Premises and Pharmacists Annual Licensures.
  • Processing of Regulatory Intelligence and continuous value-adding to relevant regulatory databases.
  • Maintenance of Inventory register for all controlled products.
  • Coordination of destruction exercises within the company and between the company and the regulatory authority for all Pharmaceuticals and vaccines.
  • Participation in projects.
  • Maintenance of Regulatory Affairs Business Partnerships with customers and stakeholders (Commercial, Medical Quality, Legal teams) & effective coordination with other identified stakeholders to implement new developments or changes to products or processes.
  • Implementing all GSK regulatory expectations and timely delivering on our Purpose.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years Regulatory Affairs experience (in similar environments), post Licensure with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Possess a sound understanding of basic Regulatory guidelines both locally and internationally.
  • Have excellent engagement skills (Will need to work with Government Regulators).
  • Be Computer Literate and proficient.
  • Must constantly search for Innovations.
  • Excellent knowledge of Quality Management Systems and principles especially as applicable to Regulatory Affairs.
  • Need to be able to adapt quickly to constantly changing regulatory policies and environment.
  • Be capable of Quick adaptation to continuously increasing responsibilities.
  • Must be resilient and excellent at managing work pressures and be capable of planned and organized work.

Job Title: Medical Governance Executive

Job Purpose

  • As a Medical Governance Executive, you will be responsible for coordinating the Governance activities in the LOC, performing NSC activities, and providing administrative support to the Medical Department for the smooth running of departmental activities.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the secretariat, driving agenda development in consultation with the CMD, taking minutes of meetings, tracking and timely closure of all actions emanating from Medical Governance meetings.
  • Act as the secretariat for the sponsorship committee and all committees domiciled within the medical department.
  • Develop agenda items, keep minutes and ensure timely completion of all actions.
  • Ensuring a robust Internal Control Framework in the Medical Department.
  • Support in review and update of the Medical Risk Register and monitor the closure of Risk Mitigation Plans.
  • Develop and update the medical activity dashboard to collate monthly reports & weekly plans, and the training metrics.
  • Provide secretariat support to the Medical Director in Medical Affairs: Generate and track HCP/ HCO engagement letters in the engagement of External Experts for GSK activities in the LOC.
  • Provide support to the CMD in the coordination of Medical Affairs processes in the LOC (including the annual strategic planning cycle, monitoring/tracking performance) & any other administrative activity as assigned by the CMD.
  • Ensure timely delivery of CME certificates to HCPs.

  • Graduate Degree in Life Sciences.
  • Post-graduation management qualification or industry experience as an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous similar roles or training/teaching experience.
  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare Industry experience.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong collaboration & communication skills.
  • Understanding of Pharmaceutical Medical Governance frameworks.
  • Technical capabilities in advanced Excel and PowerPoint software, and the ability to analyze and present complex data.
