Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Nigeria
Purpose of the Role
- To coordinate and oversee the commercial management for the design and delivery of projects, working collaboratively with contractors, surveyors, and other project team members to ensure consistency and quality delivery of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with the contract.
- Provide accurate cost advice and financial reporting to Management.
- Constructively challenge processes and management decisions to bring about service improvements.
- Clearly, the articulate project needs on a stage-by-stage basis.
- Proactively contribute to value management and value engineering studies at the project and program level.
- Liaising with clients to negotiate and agree on contracting bids for new projects.
- Creating budgets for construction projects.
- Reporting on project costs as they progress.
- Working with the project team and other professionals to ensure costs are kept within budget.
- Expanding or improving commercial procedures, processes, and policies.
- Ensuring projects stay within regulatory guidelines.
- Take responsibility for the commercial performance of all projects.
- Develop commercial strategies and lead on contractual negotiations.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or it’s equivalent in Quantity Surveying.
- A minimum of 7 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the Construction Industry.
- Project Management training and experience. Certification is an advantage.
- Experience in commercial issues to include tendering, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Good communication skills both oral and written.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to lead a team to deliver great results.

Requirements
- Experience in ensuring that projects are executed within legislative, terms of the contract, and company requirements.
- Able to provide technical advice and solve problems on-site.
- Experience in preparing and submission of weekly site reports.
- Experience in overseeing building works.
- Familiar with setting out sites and organizing facilities.
- Ability to technical designs and drawings, and to ensure that they are followed correctly.
- Experience in supervising contract staff from start to completion of the project.
- Able to ensure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets, or timescales.

Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- This position is responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects, working with contractors, builders, and architects to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Review of Civil/Structural Engineering designs and drawings for all Projects.
- Supervision of Civil Engineering project activities in compliance with approved designs.
- Take off of engineering quantities from drawings.
- Monitoring of Civil Engineering projects.
- Design of Civil / Structural elements of Projects, both for steel, reinforced concrete elements, foundation, earthworks, drainages, supports, etc.
- Development/generation of structural analysis and design reports for all Civil/Structural Engineering designs.
- Development of bending schedules and BEME for engineering designs.
- Development of project design and construction specifications.
Qualification and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years cumulative experience in Civil Structural Engineering practice.
- At least 5 years of working experience in design and facilities engineering in power, industrial, or the oil and gas sector.
- Minimum 3year experience in the supervision of Civil Engineering Projects Field Engineering and Construction experience with good knowledge of industry/regulatory standards.
- Sound computer skills and experience with major drafting and design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, CADWorx, Orion/Prota and SACS, AutoPLANT and PDMS, etc.
- Project Management Experience and certification shall be an advantage.
