Description
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.

Job Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics / Construction Management or other relevant degrees.
- 5+ years experience in a quantity surveying role in the oil and gas industry.
- Membership of any relevant professional body will be an added advantage.

Job Description
- Deliver project document control against project procedures for internal and external design and vendor documents and project correspondence.
- Maintain the Doc Control Systems and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Prepare document performance reports (status, progress, and forecast).
- Support the external document control contractors (e.g. bulk loading, document reclassification, etc.)
- Comply with the Company Records Management for Controlled and Not-Controlled documents.
- Undertake project filing, archiving, and handover preparation.
- Maintain paper and electronic document flow within a project team, and from/to contractors or vendors.
- Support the use of document “team working areas” for uncontrolled documents and sharing.
Dimensions:
- Multiple stakeholders including Client’s Joint Venture (JV) Partners, EPC consortium, Owner’s team, and Government Agencies.
- EPC Consortium is expected to operate from multiple locations with personnel from different nationalities.
Job Requirements
- Use of Assai DC and AssaiWeb applications for document management.
- Use and administration of SharePoint.
Education:
- B.Sc. A degree in a relevant discipline is required for the job.
- 6 years post-graduate experience, out of which 3 years should have been spent in a Document Control unit in the Oil & Gas sector.
Knowledge of:
- Document control processes and systems on Major Capital Projects, and of the interface management in the major execution contracts.
- Records Management principles and implementation methods.
- Project reporting software such as PowerBi, MS Access, and Excel is desirable.
- Cross-discipline engineering documents (requirements and use) and discipline approval processes within project teams.

Job Title: Quality Surveillance Engineer – Civil

Description
- Review discipline Inspection and Test plans (ITPs) and related Quality Control Plans.
- Attend daily site construction management meetings.
- Ensure that only the latest design documents (AFC) are used at the worksite.
- Witness and monitor Contractor’s work activities, inspection, and test in accordance with the approved Quality Plan, ITP, Quality Procedures, etc.
- Monitor Contractor engineering fabrics (coatings, insulation, cladding, fireproofing, etc.) technical requirements to ensure the engineering fabrics are installed to the highest quality requirements.
- Provide support for the resolution of Civil, Structural, and Engineering fabrics (coatings, insulation, fireproofing, etc.) technical queries raised.
- Contractor promptly and accurately.
- Monitor Contractor Completions Management process and verify reports, to support the Faultless Project Delivery Program.
- Ensure all inspection steps on the ITP are carried out by the Contractor.
- Review and sign Contractor Inspection and Test Reports on behalf of Company.
- Prepare and issue weekly summary reports based on the site quality surveillance activities.
- Escalate any observed nonconformances to the Senior Quality Surveillance Engineer for review and action.
- Review the resolution of field NCR action items.
Job Requirements
- B.Sc. / B.Eng. in the required Engineering discipline (Civil Engineering) or it’s equivalent.
- A minimum of 7 years’ postgraduation experience, out of which 45years must have been spent on a similar position in the oil and gas sector.
- Good knowledge of best engineering practices, DEPs, and International codes & standards.
- Proficiency in the use of basic MS Office computer applications
