Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited is a major player in the Agro-Allied industry in Nigeria. We operate in 4 states in Nigeria namely, Ondo, Ogun, Delta and Edo states. We belong to a West African group called SIFCA headquartered in ivory Coast. As a result of expansion, we urgently require a very qualified candidate to fill the positions below:
Job Title: Assistant IT Manager
Locations: Edo & Delta
Responsibilities
- To ensure continuous satisfactory delivery of IT services to users
- To ensure regular backups of the company’s data and also ensure the integrity of the backups
- To receive and perform the installation and configuration of new IT-related equipment
- To troubleshoot and fix faults with user computers and services
- To liaise with vendors and contractors to resolve problems that require their inputs
- To extend IT services as may be required and ensure satisfactory delivery of service
- To provide weekend and holiday cover for IT services
Qualification and Skills Required
- B.Sc / B.Eng in Electronics or Computer Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years post NYSC experience in a broad (wired and wireless) network environment
- Good customer service orientation & good communication skill
- Good knowledge of PC’s and operating systems
- Hardware and software troubleshooting experience
- Troubleshooting in a network environment (LAN, WAN, and WLAN)
- Experience in data management and documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision
Job Title: Assistant Budget Controller
Location: Edo
Responsibility
- To assist the budget controller on responsibilities of the unit, and also stand-in in his absence.
Qualification and Skills Required
- Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Accounting
- 7 year’s cognate experience with at least 4 years of similar role In a well-established organization
- Must be ICAN Qualified
- Must have knowledge of budget preparation/ development
- Ability to monitor budget execution
- Expert in the use of Excel, PowerPoint & ERP
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Nigeria
Responsibilities
- Raise accounting journals
- Enter transaction/ensure accuracy of data posting
- Reconcile account payables/receivables
- Book accruals and provisions
- Book fixed assets In terms of acquisitions, disposals and ensure the records are in agreement with ledger accounts
- Carry out statutory deductions on payments due suppliers and ensure remittances
- Handle rubber sales accounts and prepare monthly reconciliation of accounts
- Follow up on a monthly basis balance in SUN inventory Module
- Reconcile salaries and staff loans in ledger accounts with Human Resource payroll records
- Supervise job done by the accounting officers
Qualification and Skills Required
- B.Sc/HND in Accounting with a minimum of a second class lower and ACA
- A minimum of 5 years post NYSC working experience in a similar position
- Versed In processing and reporting financial information
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadline
- Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (1FRS)
- A good ICT skill and ability to use Accounting Software like SubSystem and SAP
- Excellent team player
