Job Title: Electrician

Location: Nationwide

Responsibilities
  • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems
  • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems
  • Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels, etc.)
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
  • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
  • Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits, etc.
  • Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
Requirements
  • Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electrician
  • Proven experience as an electrician in a power plant
  • Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints

Job Title: Shift Electrical-in-charge (Power Plant)

Location: Nationwide

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all operations on the plant
  • Overall responsibility for the isolation of all electrical and mechanical plant with the subsequent issue of Electrical and Mechanical Permits for Work, Sanctions for Test, Permits for Work
  • Responsibility for the supervision and management of the fertilizer plant Operations staff to ensure that the plant is being operated as efficiently and safely as possible, and checking where necessary to ensure that operational requirements are being met, with particular reference to boiler pressure raising, emission controls, turbo-alternator run up and emergency conditions.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all agreed routine plant checks and testing are being carried out to the specified frequencies and in accordance with Plant Operating Instructions, and that boiler, turbine, control room, and auxiliary plant log sheets are filled incorrectly, and at the prescribed frequency.
  • Responsibility for the reporting and prioritizing of defects that require attention by maintenance and other support departments and contractors in accordance with plant procedures.
  • Responsibility for keeping a full and complete, detailed, Shift log of all aspects of Plant Operation with special reference to Operations of a non-routine nature, and especially non-routine high voltage switching.
  • Responsibility for preparing detailed reports of incidents/accidents for investigation and inquiry, and taking charge of Fire and First Aid activities as appropriate, and completing reports of these incidents in accordance with specified reporting procedures.
  • Responsibility for all aspects of Operations shift management, including cover arrangements for holidays, sickness, or other shift changes.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that any Quality, Safety, or Environmental Systems procedures which they are responsible for managing or undertaking, are performed in accordance with appropriate requirements.
  • Responsibility for identifying and planning the training needs of their team members within their area of responsibility.
  • Monitoring of short term contractors and maintenance staff within the Energy Centre, outside normal office hours.
  • Conduct Risk Assessment reviews as necessary, to include audits of existing Operational Risk Assessments
  • The overall control of raw materials on shift includes loading/off-loading, consumption rates, and communications to relevant suppliers ensuring continuous compliant operations of the fertilizer plant.
Requirements
  • HND / B.Sc. in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety at Work preferred
  • Demonstrable and detailed technical knowledge of fertilizer plant equipment and operation.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the safe and efficient operation or maintenance of Power Plant.
  • A commitment to undertake training as deemed necessary to improve and update knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrable supervisory skills in a senior management role
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act, Factories Act and Electrical Special Regulations
  • The ability to work with and lead a shift team.
  • Good communications skills at all levels

Job Title: Store-in-Charge

Responsibilities
  • To superintend, oversee, and shall be responsible for all store activities of the company and keeping of the items and goods in the Stores [namely raw materials store and finished goods stores].
  • Ensure documentation of purchases/receipt of goods, plan and monitor stock levels, including the monitoring of raw material and finished goods output levels

  • To perform Stores duties in the Spare Parts Stores; and shall be responsible for the keeping of the parts, records/documentation, and systems and processes in the Parts Stores
  • Will be responsible for maintaining stock levels at all times, Issuance of items, ensure that all items issued are properly stocked out, raise a request for pending or non-available spares in the Stores, receive purchase orders, ensure proper receipt of goods from suppliers after approval of the purchase, follow due process in the confirmation of items received after verification.

Candidate Profile Overview:

  • The role is an established position with the primary objective of setting up the sales function for the preforms and closures business vertical as a profit center.
  • The individual is expected to provide leadership towards the achievement of sales growth and profitability in driving new business in line with company vision and values.
  • The individual will need to establish the overall B2B sales strategy and sales management in order to expand the customer base in the market.
  • The person will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities, market research activities in order to drive corporate sales and deeper market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the group’s B2B sales strategy in order to maximize sales.

Job Title: Information Security & Internal Compliance Officer

Job Objective

To enforce the information security management system security standards, policies, procedures, in line with our regulatory requirements and managing documents.

Duties
  • Planning and performing periodic security audits
  • Performing periodic checks on hardware and software systems to identify areas where deviation from standards exist
  • Periodically reviewing system access logs to see if access to systems/information is maintained on a need to know and need to do basis
  • Conducting internal audits on a quarterly basis in line with the regulatory scope(s)
