Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a Danish international non-governmental organization, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. DRC is present in more than 30 conflict territories around the world assisting displaced people with shelter, food, income-generating activities, and a wide range of other assistance. It is of utmost importance for DRC to work in compliance with the DRC Accountability and Quality Management system and national legislations. We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Supply Chain – General Support (Fleet)

Location: Borno
Contract type: National contract

• Responsible for running the day-to-day fleet aspects for the various emergency projects in response to the Maiduguri.

Key Requirements
Essentials:

• Possession of a minimum of OND in Social Sciences from a reputable higher institution.
• Previous Experience in a Humanitarian NGO in logistics/fleet unit.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
• Good written and spoken English, knowledge of Hausa is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to keep clear and concise records.
• Attention to detail and excellent numeric accuracy.

Conditions

• Availability: ASAP
• Salary and conditions: In accordance with the Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment;
• The income will be subject to statutory deductions as per applicable Nigerian laws. The employee is responsible for tax returns.
