Job Title: Emerging Citizens Volunteer
Location: Abuja
Detailed Description
- Aspilos Foundation is looking for volunteers to join her Emerging Citizens project team. The Emerging Citizens (EC) is a public advocacy project with the goal to stimulate and reinforce active citizenship and participation in governance. The team will be working with 30 students each from 60 schools across the FCT.
- The volunteers will be required to deliver our active citizenship training and subsequently manage the activities of the trainees’ post-training. Volunteers will need to commit 1-2 days weekly to this project for a period of 9 months starting January 2019.
Eligibility Criteria
- A good understanding of good governance, leadership, and civic education
- Good people relation skill
- Report writing skill
- Willingness and availability to work anywhere within Abuja
- Speaking and teaching skills
- Ability to facilitate interactive training ssessions
- A minimum qualification of Higher Diploma
- Enthusiasm for advocacy.
