Job Title: Process Operator – Packaging

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in Packaging process areas according to VPO standards Constantly review process performance against target, recording shortstops and correcting any out of controls using the VPO tools.
  • Record waste and movement of product on the appropriate documentation or information systems
  • Review trends to identify & resolve problems
  • Carry out autonomous operations as defined for the process areas
  • Identify a defective plant, and report these through to the Process Artisan or Team Leader to assist with resolution
  • Assisting the Process Artisan/Machine specialist in executing running repairs on shift
  • Carry out the required quality checks and analyses and record the results on the appropriate information system
  • Actively participate in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions
  • Making use of the action logs to record issues, problems, and improvement opportunities
  • Fully understand the team’s Dream and contribute to achieving it.
  • Complete Team room administration as required
  • Interpret and implement production plan for shift
  • Operate manual and automatic machines on Packaging line as per standards
  • Monitor production processes on shift and correct any negative trends
  • Ensure process quality and productivity.
  • Make use of relevant communication media (e.g. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues
  • Complete required hand over to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality and maintenance are communicated
  • Where problems occur, use the VPO problem-solving tools to resolve and record the issues
  • Manage PIMS & POMS and take corrective action on negative trends
  • Use QFR’s (As per triggers)
  • Complete 5 WHY’s (As per triggers) with relevant team members
  • Contribute towards Abnormality reports as required
  • Complete associated tracking and monitoring: operator workstation administration and take action as required

Qualification & Experience

  • B.Sc / HND qualification or equivalent in Engineering
  • Experience in a packaging process environment
  • Minimum of 2 years in FMCG environment
  • Experience in running a high-speed packaging line.

Job Title: Company Secretary / General Counsel

  • Ensure that statutory meetings e.g. AGM is held with strict compliance to the provisions of the Company and Allied matters Act
  • Oversee and ensure prompt reporting of all Statutory and Regulatory Compliances with statutory provisions of the Law and regulation
  • Manage Consumer protection and competition advisory engagements
  • Manage and coordinate litigation matters and external counsel relationships to protect the company from legal risks
  • Acting as a bridge between the Company and the police on issues involving the police.
  • Directing the Board on the provisions of Companies and Allied Matters Act where the need arises during meetings
  • Ensuring that Notices and Agenda for the Board Meetings are prepared and sent to Board members within the time
  • Writing and Developing Board Meetings
  • Keeping the register of members
  • Keeping the register of Directors

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Law with necessary practicing license
  • 10 years membership at the Bar
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as Company Secretary and General Counsel.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Job Description

  • As a member of the Solutions Team, a Network Engineer will provide onsite and remote support to our users.
  • They will work independently and as part of a team to answer service desk calls, urgently analyze technical issues, address Level 2 escalations, work on projects, and troubleshoot over the phone/onsite/via remote access.
  • This is a role that requires individuals to be versatile in their skillsets to support and manage network infrastructures to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain/Upgrade/Troubleshoot networking equipment
  • Initiate and /or participate in the problem management process
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired.
  • Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications
  • Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
  • Ability to learn new technologies as per business requirements.
  • Administer/Configure/Use monitoring and reporting tools such as SolarWinds, Thousandeyes, and PRTG
  • Handle virtually any network-related work that may occur

A Must Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a network admin or similar role.
  • Strong understanding and familiarity with a router, LAN switch, application accelerator, Firewall, wireless controller, and IP Voice.
  • Good understanding of security, ACLs, LAN, and Wireless Security, 802.1x, VPN.
  • Good understanding of all routing protocols (For example BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, GLBP, VRF), Traffic Engineering, L2/L3 VPN, QoS.
  • Hands-on experience with Routing and Switching (Cisco), Wireless (Cisco Meraki).

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Disciplined and oriented in practice and adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
  • IT Certification will be an advantage (e.g. ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, MCSE).
