Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development work Experience Program

This initiative involves training youths with minimum requisite technical knowledge, empowering them to apply their skills in standardized meter installation, plumbing, electrical and facility management whilst providing eventual employment opportunities for successful candidates.

REQUIREMENTS FOR METER INSTALLATION

1. The ideal person should possess Trade Test 1, 2 and 3 in Electrical installation or any
   relevant field and/or
2. An OND/HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and
   any other related discipline
3. A completed apprenticeship in electrical /electronic installation and maintenance may
   be considered
4. Must be within the age range 18-35
5. Must not be scared of heights and able to climb a ladder.
6. Must be technologically savvy and able to use an android phone.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PLUMBING MAINTENANCE

1. The ideal candidate should possess Trade Test 1,2 and 3 in plumbing
   installation/maintenance or any relevant field and/or
2. An OND/HND in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and any other related
   discipline
3. Completed apprenticeship in plumbing installation/maintenance may be considered
4. Must be within the age range 18-35

REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE

1. A minimum of Trade Test 1, 2 and 3 or it’s equivalent in electrical
   installation/maintenance or any relevant field and/or
2. An OND/HND in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and
   any other related discipline
3. Must be within the age range 18-35
4. A completed apprenticeship in electrical /electronic installation and maintenance may
   be considered

REQUIREMENTS FOR FACILITY MANAGEMENT TRAINEE

1. B.Sc/BA, OND/HND in Estate Management, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering,
   Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and any other related
   discipline
2. Must be within the age range 21-35
