Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • As the Production Manager, you will be directly responsible for controlling and directing the food preparation process and any other relative activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the general kitchen, bakery, and store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintaining and raising the food’s profit margins.
  • Handle complaints and issues arising first hand from all production area staff.
  • Creating of the menu (Recipe capturing) and costing of the menu for production
  • Implementation and training (Internal & External) of all health and safety procedures in all production areas i.e. HACCP.
  • Ensure there is discipline among all production staff
  • Manage general hygiene of the production area, i.e. the kitchen, the creamery, bakery, and outdoor kitchen area.
  • Estimating production cost and ensuring all purchases come within the budget
  • Ensure return policy on all stock items not used in the kitchen and bakery.
  • Ensure production time management.
  • Oversee kitchen accounts, creating and updating work roaster.
  • Monitor stock minimum levels and report any shortage to appropriate channels.
  • Motivate, inspire and train production team staff from time to time.
  • Attend all management and staff meetings as required and provide constructive feedback.
  • Weekly reporting to the Executive Director/ Chief Executive Officer.
  • Prevention of raw materials wastages and product wastages.
  • Management of storage i.e. for frozen, cold, and dry food items.
  • Management of all production staff in the kitchen, bakery, and creamery.
  • Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
  • Ensure order processing is duly adhered to.
  • Management of produced items for internal use (Restaurant & Fresh prep) and for external use (take-outs, events, and delivery).
  • Ensure quality control.
  • Ensure prompt report of any malfunction of kitchen and bakery equipment.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Some level of pastry experience.
  • Real creativity when it comes to food.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling principles and procedures (HACCP).
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills
  • Cookery experience in a commercial kitchen.

Remuneration

N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.

Job Title: Cashier

Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Creating bills for customers.
  • Daily operation of the cash register.
  • Processing credit card payments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
  • Receive customers with a smiling and welcoming attitude
  • Processing customer payments.
  • Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties).
  • Detects errors arising out of wrong input of orders by the waiters, barmen and customer representatives.
  • Reporting cases of fraudulent acts to the Finance Manager.
  • Confirmation of customers payment.
  • Accepting cash payments and making change and using a point of sale (POS) system for transactions.
  • Helping resolve customer complaints and maintaining knowledge of the menu and sales policies.
  • Daily account reconciliation and account closing and ensuring no shortage or overage is made.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with relevant work experience.
  • Nearness to location of business is important for any interested candidates.
  • Candidates with experience as a Cashier in the food and hospitality industry are highly preferred for this role.

Salary

N50,000 Monthly.

  • We need a facility officer with 4 – 5 years experience in the maintenance of all electrical office equipment and plumbing items for immediate resumption.

N80,000 Monthly.
